As a pharmacy student, I am constantly being taught new things. With everything I'm learning, it seemed selfish not to share at least one new thing per day.

A single dose of an antibiotic from the aminoglycoside class (i.e. streptomycin, gentamicin, tobramycin) can cause irreversible deafness because it has high affinity for the inner ear.
